Avoid exam malpractice; Abia HOS charges as Civil/Public Servants begin Promotion Exams

Abia State head of service Dr Ngozi Obioma has charged civil/public servants to shun unholy acts that will attract any discipline as they begin their promotion, conversion and confirmation exams.

She gave the charge on Tuesday during the kickoff of the 2022/2023 exams holding simultaneously at Umuahia township stadium for 2022 set and Ibeku high school for 2023 set.

Speaking with journalist, Dr Ngozi assured the Civil servants that they are making everything possible to make the exam very credible and fair. She added that the 2022 set who fail the exam will be given another opportunity in line with the civil service rules to retake the exam and strategic measures are be taken to avoid any form of malpractice
She promised that the results will be out within two weeks latest, so that those who fail the exam will follow the next set.

Dr Ngozi Obioma advised the civil servants to relax and do their best and not to panic as the questions will come from all that the resource persons covered during the seminar.

She also mentioned that the exam carries a certain percentage, while the other activities also carry some percentage, reassuring them that just because one fail the exam does not mean he or she has fail entirely.

The head of service added that other activities will make up the marks for them.
