In the spirit of brotherhoid, the Apex Ngwa socio-cultural organization in collaboration with other Ngwa organizations and communities, have commenced activities leading to the NGWA DAY 2024 celebration.
In a release by the spokesperson of the group made available, Professor Sam Erugo, SAN, Onu n’kwuru Oha Isingwa, made available to newsmen on Saturday, Ngwa sons and daughters, in-laws, friends and associates, at home and in the diaspora, and the general public, are hereby notified of the commencement of activities leading to the NGWA DAY 2024 celebration.
According to the release, the event scheduled to hold in the adorned town of Aba, Enyimba City, Abia State, on the 28th of December 2024, will be a celebration of the Ngwa people and their rich cultural heritage at its best and splendor.
Disclosing what the NGWA DAY 2024 will achieve, Erugo, revealed that it will celebrate the Ngwa people and achievements, the Ngwa capacity, capability and potentials, celebrate the reinvigorated or bolstered unity as a people and the unity of purpose in the pursuit of common good, express and recharge the long culture of hospitality to visitors, and the long existing friendship with our neighbours.
Other purpose and achievements for the event include: extend the hand of friendship to all men and women of goodwill for future pursuits. allow all to express their resolve to be added in the scheme of things in Nigeria as well as revive the home-coming practice.
The Association, however invites every Ngwa stakeholder to be part of the NGWA DAY 2024 celebration, starting with the preparations for, and participation in activities leading to the event, while also inviting all Ngwa cultural groups, troupes and organizations to join.
The release added that all Ngwa sons and daughters, in-laws, friends and associates, at home and in the diaspora, and the general public are invited to the grand finale at Abayi Umuocham Primary School, Aba, on the 28th of December 2024.
