Entourage from Abia State government lee by the Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has received the Senate president, Dr Ahmed Lawal at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport Owerri.
The Senate President is coming to Obikabia in Obingwa local government area of Abia State for a one day working visit to commission the Abia shoe factory built by Abia state governor, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. Senator Lawal was accompanied by the two former Governors of Abia State, Senate Chief whip, Representing Abia North Senatorial district, Orji Uzor Kalu and his Abia Central Senatorial District Counterpart, Chief Theodore Orji, while arrays of government officials were present at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport.
The shoe factory, ENASCO company is expected to provide job to Abians and promote made in Aba shoes to international market.
