A popular Entertainment Chief Executive, Mr. Uchenna Ebochuo has condemned his fellow Abia born entertainer and comedian, Mr. Bright Onyekwere popularly called BasketMouth over his unguarded criticism against Abia State.
Mr. Ebochuo, who was speaking in an interview in Umuahia described the comments of BasketMouth as laughable and an act of demarketing one’s home State. He said BasketMouth has no bases coming out to be criticising the State, adding that being an Abian, BasketMouth should talk about how to market the State.
The Entertainment Chief Executive said talking good of Abia State would bring investors to the State and regretted that BasketMouth may not know the negative implementation of what he has done to himself and the State with such criticism.
It could be recalled that BasketMouth, an Isuikwuato born comedian, who has no electoral value nor PVC in the State had few days ago criticised Abia State for lacking airport, having no infrastructure and being the worst road in Africa. BasketMouth rather queue up with his politician sponsor in the show of a shame interview.
However, Ebochuo said Abians are aware that both BasketMouth and the one he is supporting has never genuinely and selflessly break back their acclaimed worth home to Abia State and cannot point out any assistance rendered to the people of the State in any form but have always criticised the State without any meaningful contribution to her development.
He added that the actions and character of BasketMouth, whom he alleged that doesn’t know his ancestral home and his serial election loser sponsor are very much alike considering where he has gotten to in the entertainment industry globally but he has refused to use his fame, resources and fortunes to project and promote his state positively rather than saying nonsense to blackmail his state, which Ebuchuo claimed that no reasonably-priced celebrity will do such just because of the money they are paid.
The entertainment boss also reminded Basketmouth to allegedly
remember that he has never contributed any meaningful thing to his state, local government, village, and even in his compound.. “Ordinary five inches block Basketmouth have not put in his father’s compound. He is living luxury fake lifestyle. I want to use this very opportunity to tell your followers that you are nobody, the world need to come and see where Onyekwere of Basketmouth came from and up till now it has not touch him to come and renovate his ancestry compound and improve the lives of his family members”.
In his words, Uchenna Ebochuo said “You and I knows that you have a questionable character, sometime ago you visited Abia for a glo tour show the money given to you and BOVI, you eat it alone without giving him his share of the money. You told me not to tell him about the money, just be careful, I don’t want to expose you more. Just go and apologize to Abians”.
