Christians have been charged to represent the true image of God and listen to His voice from heaven for He is ready to lift believers higher.
Evangelist Daniel Kolenda, the successor of the late popular gospel, Evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke gave the charge while preaching at the ongoing Gosple Crusade in Umuahia.
He tasked believers not to allow the law of sin to pull them down, but allow the law of salvation to reign in their lives.
Preaching at the crusade, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda urged Christians to obey the law as stipulated by God.
He said the law of gravity does not respect anyone, no matter your personality and educational background.
Drawing reference from Romans chapter 8 verse 1 and 2, he said apostle Paul remindered all about the law of sin, the law of death, thirdly the law of salvation.
He noted that the law of sin pulls personalities and nations down.
According to him, people cannot defeat the law of sin on their own, but only with the power of Jesus.
He emphasized that heal is a place of punishment, darkness and evil, adding that the law of sin and darkness are like twins.
However, kolenda said he came with the powerful message, the law of salvation, so that people would be free from different they find themselves.
The man of God said the good news is that Jesus died for everyone to save man from sin, bondage and He is ready to answer our prayers.
Evangelist Kolenda while concluding his message led many people to Christ.
The gospel crusade
commenced with high powered gosple songs.
The songs assisted to drew people’s attention and served as a reminder to those living and doing businesses around. The songs rendered aslo awake the spirit of many believers who were seen in high spirit praising God.
The interdenominational crusade attracted people from all walks of life.
Bishop Dr Newlife Ugochukwu led a Prayer for Nigeria, while
Pastor Ugochukwu Ibe led the Prayer for peace and prosperity for Umuahia and Abia State at large.
Ibe noted that without peace, there will be no prosperity. He charged the gathring that Umuahia needs peace, because no one can envisage it, but with faith, God will hear the cry of His children.
The man of God further charged the congregation to command peace and God to increase His protection in Umuahia and Abia State. He prayed for high level protection from armed robbery, kidnapping, banditory and assassinators, as well as roundabout protection where no one can break.
Ibe observed that insecurity force investors to run to where there is security.
Bishop Dr Newlife said the gosple of Jesus is free, therefore charged believers to remain committed to God’s blessings. He read Genesis chapter 1, where God instructed Abraham what to do and prayed God to send His blessings and end poverty in the country. He assured them, their prayers will spur God to change their life for better.
The chairman of the local organising committee for the crusade, Archbishop Chikezie Elekwa among other ministers of God, were present, as the Abia State secretary of the penticostal fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Reverend Blessed Amalambu also led a prayer, urging believers to pray for God is ever ready to answer. He assured that prayer uproot devils and its agents from their secret places.
