The State Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Reverend Augustine Ehimere has advised Igbos to take advantage of President Muhammadu Buhari’s statement to take over power in Nigeria come 2023.
Recall that President Buhari in his congratulatory message to Professor Charles Soludo when he was declared winner as the Governor elect for Anambra State urged Soludo to take the lead in the development of South East region.
Standing on Mr President’s statement, Ehimere while interacting with the former member that represented Aba North state constituency, Emeka Nnamani including other members of the party in Umuahia, said the message of Mr President was clear and direct. He pointed out that the former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu was the only Governor produced by AD, which he used to empower the South West region.
Ehimere reminded the gathering that those who served Tinunu when he was Governor then are either Governors now, Vice President, Minister’s and other top posts, calling on Igbos to see APGA as their own regional party.

Ehimere was optimistic that APGA is the only party that can give Igbo man Presidential ticket without hiccups.
Ehimere described Nnamani as a true party man and one of those championing the ideology of APGA. He further called on Emeka Nnamani to step up action and start something that will showcase him more to the public.
State secretary of APGA in Abia State, Chief Sunday Onukwubiri said Emeka Nnamani is not a stranger in APGA and represents well as other good ambassadors could do. He thanked Nnamani for coming to Identify with the party leaders in their new party office off Azikiwe road Umuahia, adding that APGA blood is running in him, unlike those who are not consistent in their fate.

According to him, Emeka Nnamani has sacrificed more than other personalities in Abia APGA and encouraged him not to be deterred by political distractions but remain focused.
Earlier in his speech, Emeka Nnamani pointed out that APGA is the only option to rescue Abia for sixteen years of bad leadership in Abia State, stressing that over one month, the state has been in the internet where people are criticizing the deplorable state of Aba particularly.
Emeka maintained as a stakeholder in the private sector, he has much concern to develop Aba and responsibility as a stakeholder in Aba to make comments over the political activities, hence he discovered that Abia needs rescue mission.

He said people like him cannot fold their hands and watch things go wrong, if not, he will rather wait for a new beginning than join a corrupt ending.
According to Nnamdi, “PDP in Abia will be shocked by the quantum of sympathy vote against them in the next election in the state”.
” The list is endless, are we talking about bad roads in Abia or workers and pensioners who are not rejoicing like others in other states”
He added that his resolve to remain in APGA is absolute because APGA is destined to rescue Abia. He frowned that business people including him pay heavily to establish businesses and lamented over the incessant cases of double taxation in the state.
In their separate speeches earlier, the state vice chairman central, Chigorom Okiyi, Zonal Chairman south, Chief Lucky Erondu and Simon Onyeje assured of their support to Emeka Nnamani, whom they affirmed his instrumentality to the party.
