GODSWILL BE DONE Foundation Distributes Over 3,000 Educational Materials Worth Millions of Naira to Schools in Umuahia South, Abia State as part of their Regular Annual Giving Back-to-the-Society for Year 2025

*In continuation of the regular Annual “Giving-back-to-the Society” program of GODSWILL BE DONE Foundation powered by Engr. Godswill Ubani*;  the focus this year is on Educational Support to Junior Secondary School of Umuahia South LGA.

The long existing Foundation’s mission is centered on charity, love, and inspiration and this year’s program targeted the goal of boosting educational development and fostering brighter future for the youths.

With the set target of supporting the educational development of students across Abia State and H.E. Governor Alex Otti’s free and compulsory education, the ongoing retrofitting of schools and the employment of new teachers; the founder of the Godswill Be Done Foundation, Engr. Godswill Ubani, has donated over 3,000 school materials worth millions of Naira which included; Notebooks, School bags, shoes, Sandals, uniforms, Classroom Desks, and other writing essentials to several junior secondary schools across the state.

Engr. Godswill & Team physically visited all the beneficiary schools one by one despite the tough terrains to demonstrate their commitment by physically engaging and talking to the students to inspire them in an event that lasted from 9th – 10th October, 2025.

Beneficiary schools include;

1. Umuopara Secondary School, Umuopara.

2. Ogbodinaibe Community Secondary School, Umuopara.

3. Umunwanwa Junior Secondary Technical School, Umuopara.

4. Nsirimo Community Junior Secondary School, Ubakala.

5. Community Senior Secondary School Eziama-Ubakala.

6. Mgbarakuma Community Junior Secondary School, Ubakala.

7. Amakama Junior Secondary School, Amakama, Olokoro.

8. Umuajata Central Primary School, Mgbarigba, Olokoro. 

9. Junior Boys Secondary School (St. Mary’s), Umuoparaozara, Olokoro.

10. Olokoro Junior Girls Secondary School, Ahiaukwu, Olokoro.

The foundation members led by the founder-Engr. Ubani Godswill had stop-overs and paid courtesy calls to the Clans’ Traditional Rulers starting with His Royal Highnesses Eze Engr. Wisdom Ekueku (Oha Zuru Mee 1 of Dim na Opara) Chairman of Ndi-Eze Umuopara in the presence of President General of Umuopara, High Chief Emenike Onuoha, HRH Eze Professor Cyril Ucheaga-Chairman of Ndi-Eze Ubakala; HRH Noble Eze Adolphus – Ùgwù na Erizuo-2 of Ezu na Erim Autonomous community Nsirimo, Ubakala and finally HRM Eze Boniface Ifeanyi Izuogu (Okwu Mgba 1 of Okwu Autonomous Community & Chairman of Ndi-Eze Olokoro in the presence of President General of Olokoro Clan Development Union represented by Mr. Kenneth Amugo the publicity Secretary.

Engr. Godswill explained that the initiative was aimed at motivating & inspiring the children, assisting the underprivileged students to meet their basic educational needs and encouraging the best performing students who received special packages.

Engr. Ubani Godswill while speaking during the presentations also recounted being deeply moved after attending an inter-house sports event where he saw many students wearing torn uniforms, shoes, and carrying tattered bags. The experience inspired the large-scale donation drive to uplift the students and encourage them to remain in school.
He advised the students to stay committed to their studies and respect their parents and teachers and reminded them that “knowledge is power” and a vital key to success.

In their responses, the traditional rulers including Eze Okezie Lazarus Okonko of Umuanyi Autonomous Community, and community leaders such as High Chief Emenike Onuoha-President General of Umuopara Clan Development Union, Hon. Chief Ozuruonye Ekeh-Organizing Secretary of Umuopara Clan Development Union; Chief Jonas Nwaeze- Traditional Prime Minister for Eze Ubakala; Chief Sir C.J. Egwu, Nze Ogbenna Odimba-President-General Ekenobizi federated; Obioma Uluocha-President General of Dikeukwu community, Chief Philip Odimba-President General of Ezeleke community, Mr. Godson Ubani-President General of Eziama Ubakala community praised Engr. Ubani’s generosity.
They cited biblical teachings on the rewards of helping the needy and encouraged others to emulate the gesture.


Principals, PTA leaders, and community heads including Rev. Canon Azubuike Nwogu and Mrs. Margrete Eleweke also expressed deep appreciation for the support, noting the positive impact it would have on the students’ academic morale.
