THREAT TO LIFE, CRIMINAL TRESPAS, MALICIOUS DAMAGE, AND CONDUCT LIKELY TO BREACH PEACE AGAINST CHIEF NWANKWO OGBONNA, CHIEF GODDAY NDUCHE, CHIDIEBERE OJUKWU, EMENIKE ENYINNAYA, UGOCHUKWU OGBONNA AND EZE OGBONNAYA.
A Non-profit organization with the commitment to the protection of Nigeria citizens against all human rights violations is writing to the public on behalf of “Ogechi Okezie” who hail from Itunta Ibere in Ikwuano L.G.A.
Ogechi whose late husband Mr. Okezie Onyema Onyendu is the only son of his parents of Late Mr. and Mrs. Onyema Onyendu Ogbonna was allegedly murdered on 7th March 2025 at Amawom by some group of boys who where allegedly sent by CHIEF NWANKWO OGBONNA, CHIEF GODDAY NDUCHE, CHIDIEBERE OJUKWU EMENIKE ENYINNAYA, UGOCHUKWU OGBONNA AND EZE OGBONNAYA.
According to sources, sometimes in the 70’s there was a lady called Patient whom the father in-law took care of when she was pregnant which she later left the baby and ran away and after forty years, she came back with four children and started dragging land belonging to her late Mr.Okezie Onyema Onyendu sending threats to him because of the land.
The source maintained that sometimes in September, 2024, the villagers gave notice requesting the family of Mr Okezie Onyema Onyendu to live the village, which they where later banished from the village without a justified reason.
On first February,2025, the whole village beat Mrs.Ogechi Late Husband
Mr. Okezie Onyema Onyendu and his siblings and got them arrested at Olori Police Station in Ikwuano Local Government area.
On Monday 3rd February, 2025, they were bailed and was banished from the village.Mrs. Ogechi went to the village close to Itunta where they were living before and stayed with her Late husband, they still came to her village and asked them to live. After three days, the husband was beaten and his ear was cut off on Friday 7th March, 2025.
He was rushed to Federal Medical Center Umuahia and later died on Monday being 10th March 2025. After Mrs. Ogechi Okezie have already borrowed the sum of three million naria (N 3,000,000). Mr. Godday Nduche already threatened to kill Mr. Okezie and close the case with money.
The people of Obuoro allegedly planned and killed her husband. They said the next victim is Mrs. Ogechi Okezie and the kids.
He said “Their lives are in danger Sir!.
The people that killed him took his bike, his phone, money and dumped him in the bush at Amawom’.
When contacted, Abia State Police public relations officer, Chioma Chinaka confirmed the incident. She added that she spoke with the police commander and the suspects will appear on Monday, while investigation has commenced.
