The former minister of state for mines and steel development, Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah has said he will remain steadfast in All Progressive Congress, APC despite losing his bid to be the party’s Governorship Candidate in Abia state.
Ogah said this while interacting with selected newsmen in Umuahia and asked his supporters to vote for APC Presidential Candidate, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, and other APC candidates.
Dr Uche Ogah emphasized that he has the largest structure in Abia state.
His words, “no governorship candidate can win election in Abia without my structure”.
He stated that he was the first person to congratulate Ikechi Emenike when the Supreme Court declared him the governorship candidate of APC in Abia state.
According to the former minister of mines and steel development, Ikechi Emenike has not approached him for support nor any of his political friends that he is vying for any position.
He added that people want to vote for individuals and not political parties.
Ogah said he has the capacity to deliver Abia from the present state of quagmire.
He also called for proper management of the subsidy, adding that removing the subsidy will make the masses to suffer more. He saluted the federal government under President Buhari over the cashless policy and observed that the policy has reduced many vices in the country including kidnapping.
He vehemently denied the report that he has defected or in any way working for any person in people’s democratic party PDP in Abia State.
