President, Vision Africa and ADC Governorship Candidate, Abia State, Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha has congratulated ADC members and all the well wishers for the victory at the federal high court Umuahia on Tuesday 30th November, 2023.
Bishop Onuoha in a congratulatory message he personally signed, described the victory as a pointer that Abia is in the part of liberation.
Recall that OTISI EBITU-UKIWE, a governorship aspirant of ADC took the party
ADC, BISHOP SUNDAY ONUOHA and INEC to court and challenged the primary election won by Bishop Onuoha.
In the ruling, Justice Evelyn Anyadike of the federal high court Umuahia dismissed the suit for lacking in merit.Justice Anyadike said the suit instituted by OTISI EBITU-UKIWE failed for lack of proof and subsequently dismissed it.
In his reaction, the ADC Governorship Candidate, Bishop Sunday Onuoha congratulated all lovers of goodwill on this collective victory at the Federal High Court, saying that it’s once again an affirmation and vindication that Abia is on its path to Victory.
He added that they have prayerfully awaited this day, and expressed his gladness that this long and distractive siege is finally over for all of them.
Bishop Onuoha also thanked the able legal representations of Barrister Oyewole, ADC Legal Counsel, National, and Barr. E. E. Azubuike, ADC Legal Counsel, Abia State, and indeed his entire legal team, who put in their time, skills and professional wit to deal with this case.
He further expresses hope that this verdict will furthermore strengthen ADC profile in Abia State, as well as assure Abians about their readiness to focus on the task at hand and unify their great party, while they build bridges across party-lines.
According to him, this victory has equally opened many doors for men and women, young and old, who have found in him, the new face of “A New Abia”. He maintained that Victory for one, in this case is Victory for all, as they all bury the hatchet and keep their eyes on the prize.
Onuoha said it is time for people of good conscience, from different Political families, communal, and Church/Faith denominations in Abia, everyone across human and vocational strata to join hands with him to win in the forthcoming elections.
