The President of Vision Africa International, Bishop Dr Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha said the demise of Abia State Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Professor Uche Ikonne came to him as a rude shock.
Bishop Onuoha who was a former Governing council member of Abia state University Uturu in his condolence message described Professor Uche Ikonne as an accomplished scolar with a wealth of experience in optometry with vision to serve Abia as Governor.
He joined many Abians and indeed Nigerians to mourn him and console Ikonne’s family on this shocking loss.
Bishop Onuoha also extends his condolences to Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu and the Peoples Democratic Party, the PDP.
He prays that God will grant the bereaved family, friends as well as business and political associates the strength to bear this loss.
Bishop Onuoha who is the Governorship Candidate of African Democratic Congress ADC in Abia State said he shall suspend his political campaigns and consultations for a few days to give honour to the late Professor Uche Ikonne.
