REP 2023: IKWUECHEGHI WINS APGA PRIMARIES FOR ABA NORTH/SOUTH

Former chairman of Aba north LGA, Chief Alex Ikwecheghi has been declared winner in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) primary election for Aba North and South Federal Constituency. 
In the election conducted on Saturday, 4th of June 2022,  Ikwechegh polled a total of 46 votes to defeat his opponent, Emeka Nnamani, who polled 26 votes.
Declaring the result, the returning officer, Prince Ugwu said “having polled the highest number of votes, Chief Alex Ikwecheghi is declared the winner and is hereby returned”.
Speaking after the election, Ikwecheghi appreciated his supporters and the party faithful for the massive support and promised never to fail them; 
His words “I thank you for your massive support in electing me to fly the flag of APGA in the coming election for Aba North and South Federal Constituency, I will never fail you. I look forward to working with everybody to give our party the needed victory in the general election. This victory is for all.”
According to him, if elected, the people of Aba north and south would enjoy better representation, governance through legislation.
