Rep Sam Onuigbo Commissions Market Stalls/Borehole Built for Rural Farmers

The Member Representing Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency, Rep Sam Onuigbo has commissioned and handed over at least forty market stalls and borehole water built for rural farmers of Obuohia Obi-Ibere community in Ikwuano LGA of Abia State.
Onuigbo flanked by his friends and neighbours from Akwa Ibom State, said the market stalls and borehole are closet to his heart because it was a direct request from the women and wives having been raised by his late mother, Yaa Mary Onuigbo at the village.
Onuigbo revealed that he has a big dream for the market and set to push the dream through, assuring that the lofty dreams he incubated for Obuohia would be realized without uncalled for antagonism.

He appreciated the women for the support and prayers which have spurred him to have the quest to do more.
The federal law maker said he joined politics to execute projects and attract developments and not to enjoy SUV cars. 
 
The President General of Obuohia Obi-Ibere women association, Princess Pastor Chinyere Sam Onuigbo expressed happiness over the completion of the market stalls.
In her speech, the President General of Obuohia Obi-Ibere women association, Pastor Princess Chinyere Sam Onuigbo stated that over the years, Sam Onuigbo has been the beacon of hope and light for this community at it’s darkest times.

According to her, between 2007-2008 when “our market,Ahia Ama, became so dilapidated and lost to us,we began to make efforts to resuscitate this market so that it can once again be the source of livelihood and engagement for our teaming women and their counterparts from all over the neighbouring villages, from Nkari, in Akwa-Ibom State to all Ikwuano and Umuahia”.
 
She added that Markets have not only been financial outlets for them, but it has also served as social platforms for them to socialise, share ideas, and therapeutically heal sometimes.
Her words, “That was why we decided to tax ourselves to rebuild this market. Fortunately for us, our beloved son and husband,Rep. Sam Onuigbo promised that he would make efforts to ensure that he solves the problem for us.
I must point out that since year 2000, Rep. Onuigbo has been a constant in our annual August Meetings and had contributed financially to all our projects”.
The Vice President General of Obuohia Obi-Ibere women association, Mrs Glory Akubuokwu Oru thanked the facilitator of the market stalls, Sam Onuigbo, reiterated that the market has return to it’s original standard where women raise revenue for themselves. Mrs Glory Oru said they had prayed for the completion of the market and thanked Onuigbo for other projects he had done for them including the health centre, commissioned electricity project, payment of WAEC fees for indigent students and prayed that God will use him more.
The representative of Obuohia Ibere development union, Elder Godfrey Onyeike Ogbonna appreciated Onuigbo who made the project a reality and thanked the villagers for their cooperation, believing that the market will serve the purpose it was meant for. 
However, presentation from ambassador college Ibere was part of the activities that added colour to the event.
