The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has congratulated renowned journalist and Director of ABN TV & Radio, Chief Ifeanyi Okali, on his conferment with the chieftaincy title of “Okwuru Oha” by the Paramount Ruler of Ebem Ohafia Ancient Kingdom, HRH Ezie Ukoha Kalu Ukoha JP, on 4th April 2026.
In a goodwill message, Senator Kalu described the honour as long overdue, noting that Okali’s contributions to media, community development, and societal growth have earned him widespread recognition.
The former Abia State Governor commended Chief Okali for his character and professionalism, describing him as a young man who has distinguished himself through respect, maturity, and purposeful leadership.
“This chieftaincy title is long overdue. Chief Ifeanyi Okali is a young man I admire for how he has positioned himself—respectful, mature, and focused in his ideas,” Senator Kalu stated.
He further praised Okali’s commitment to projecting his community, Ohafia, and Abia State positively on the global stage, noting that his efforts in media and advocacy have significantly contributed to the visibility and development of the region.
Senator Kalu expressed confidence that the conferment of the title will further inspire Chief Okali to continue his impactful work, while urging him to remain steadfast in his dedication to service and excellence.
