Sustain Your Community Development, Gov Ikpeazu, Rep Onuigbo Tell Women.

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has charged women to sustain the spirit established in them to support develop their communities through various means.
Governor Ikpeazu represented by the member representing Ikwuano Umuahia North-South federal constituency in national assembly, Sam Onuigbo gave the charge during the Obuohia Obi-Ibere in Ikwuano LGA development union, women’s wing Annual August General Meeting for 2021 on the theme “God of All possibilities” drawn from Matthew chapter 19 verse 26. 
Governor Ikpeazu while congratulating the women of Obuohia Obi-Ibere for their successful 2021 August meeting, also told women across the State to sustain their developmental strides, because they assist in holding communities together.
Onuigbo on his own thanked the women for their support and contribution to the improvement of Obiohia Obi-Ibere including infrastructure. He urged them to sustain their community meetings and reiterated the need to give proper training to their children and described the position of women in the communities as key. He reminded them the promised made to build a market for traders and attract federal government agro processing plant, adding that he has not forgetting the deplorable ObuOhia Obi-Ibere road.
The federal law maker  called on women who do not have INEC permanent voter card to go and register, as he revealed that the benefits of PVC not in voting but in servicing as an identity in public offices.
The national women President of Obuohia Obi-Ibere development union, Princes Pastor Chinyere Sam Onuigbo advised  parents to encouraged their children to help develop their communities.
She said the recognition of some persons came because of their selfless and humanitarian services to the youths, women and men of Obuohia Obi-Ibere.
Pastor Chinyere Onuigbo commended the women of Obuohia for their decades of verifiable accomplishments in all facets of human endeavour while still challenging them to rise up, bearing in mind that their God is a God of all possibilities, and dare to do the extraordinary. 
She pointed out that the Bible says in Philippians 4:13; that “I [women] can do all things through Christ who strengthens me(us), while the story of Deborah, as recounted in the Book of Judges, comes to her mind in Judges 5:31. Pastor Chinyere stressed that the above references including that of Deborah aptly fits the gallant women of Obuohia. 
The national coordinator of Obuohia Obi-Ibere, Mrs Gloria Obioma Nwabuike charged other women to encourage their daughters to contribute to the development of their communities, as she proudly say that women are born great, therefore, they should use the strength given to them by God very well.
Meanwhile, the 27th annual  August general meeting of Obiohia Obi-Ibere women featured medical check up. 
Cooking competition by women organised by Star Maggi company, presentation of gifts to the women, match past, dance,  presentation of awards and other side attractions.
