The cabinet of the traditional ruler of Umutowe Autonomous Community, Olokoro Clan in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State, has been informed of an incident involving one of our sons, who allegedly hung himself.
We wish to state categorically that Umutowe Autonomous Community does not give room for societal ills and has Olokoro clan vigilante, a strong security network that complements the Community policing system of the Nigerian Police Force and the zero-tolerance crime policy of the state government under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti.

The Eze in Council has begun investigating the cause of the incident.
We are collaborating with the police, who are currently holding the mortuary tally. The Olokoro vigilante, which is working closely with the police, is also assisting in the investigation.
