The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressive Party, YPP, Dr Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso on Wednesday participated in an interactive meeting with the members of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Aba Branch as he accompanied his Principal, Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafọr, the YPP Gubernatorial Candidate, and Other Candidates of the Party to the session, held at the Bar Centre, High Court Premises, Aba.
Dr Anyaso thanked the lawyers for having them in their special interactive forum of NBA, Aba Branch and recalled that six ago, NBA Aba Branch gave him an award which reads: “NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION ABA BRANCH, DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD PRESENTED TO DR CHIMA DESMOND ANYASO, MD/CEO Ceecon Energy, Oil and Gas Limited IN RECOGNITION OF YOUR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO HUMANITY AND AS A SPECIAL FRIEND OF THE BAR dated this 26th day of November 2017.
He expressed happiness with nostalgia that the NBA recognized him as their special friend and as a distinguished friend of the BAR then.
Dr. Chima went further to say, “So, six years ago, you all recognized me as your special friend and as a distinguished friend of the BAR, I am here to remind you today that I’m still your friend and that the oil has not run dry instead the oil has increased and we have come to use that which God has blessed us with to bless Abians”.
The YPP deputy governorship candidate noted that his principal, the Incoming Governor of Abia state, Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor is the most prepared candidate in this Gubernatorial race for 2023. He added that “my principal is here to speak for himself and unveil his manifesto to you”.
