The Abia Transformation Agenda Team popularly known as NANAOFUJI movement has flagged off the campaign of the Young Progressive Party (YPP) on the 6th of December, 2022 beginning with Igbere A & B wards, the home wards of the deputy Governorship candidate of the party, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyasọ.
The flagging off with a theme that resonates hope; Abia State Restoration Agenda, made it easy for the people of Bende LGA and environs to rejoice with unexplainable joy as the two great sons of Abia State; Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafọr and Dr. Chima Anyasọ; the Governor and deputy governorship candidates of the party who have excelled in their various fields of endeavours stormed Abia North for the Flagged off.
The campaign train which witnessed a large turnout of people saw Nde Bende receiving free medical care among other Empowerment items, aimed at alerting the people of the state that better days are ahead.
The YPP campaign team promised the people a BETTER ABIA.
In his words “We are getting abundant evidence of a bright light at the end of a very dark tunnel” Engr. Enyinnaya quoted”.
According to NANA/OFUJI and the YPP team, the campaign was not about them alone but the people of the state irrespective of where they come from or reside in the state but a tribute to all who want a new Abia state.
