The Vice-Chancellor, Abia State University, Uturu, Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu is felicitating Teachers at all levels all over the world, particularly Abia State University lecturers for their untiring efforts in impacting knowledge and good character amongst students despite the daily challenges they face in the discharge of their duties.
Professor Ogbulu’s message is coming as the world commemorates “World teachers day” which is observed globally every 5th October. This year teachers day has the theme, ” Teachers at the heart of Education recovery”.
According to the vice chancellor, teaching remains a noble profession with rewards that outlives generations, and calls on Government to look into the plight of teachers in order to motivate them to do better.
He therefore used the opportunity to wish all ABSU lecturers more of God’s blessings and grace as they continue to fulfill their mandate of building leaders from generation to generation.
