Stakeholders of the Labour Party in Igbere Ward B, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the party’s structure and ensuring electoral victories for Labour Party candidates in future elections.
The resolution was reached during a courtesy visit and stakeholders’ meeting held at the office of Dr. David O. Anyaele, Chairman of the Abia State Disability Commission and Leader of Igbere Ward B Stakeholders.
At the meeting, the stakeholders through a communique commended Governor Alex Otti for what they described as purposeful leadership and remarkable developmental strides across Abia State.

They particularly appreciated ongoing and completed projects in Igbere and Bende Local Government Area, including the flag-off of the Umunnato Specialist Hospital and the commissioning of the Okafia and Umuisi Primary Healthcare Centres.
The stakeholders also praised the Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Uwabunkeonye Bassey, for his commitment to grassroots development and support for the people of Igbere Ward B.
They congratulated Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso on emerging as the Labour Party flag bearer for Bende Federal Constituency and pledged their support for his candidacy in the forthcoming general elections.
The meeting further applauded Hon. Nnamdi Ibekwe for his representation of Bende North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, noting that his efforts have helped extend democratic dividends across the constituency.
The stakeholders also congratulated him on emerging as the Labour Party candidate for Bende North State Constituency.
The stakeholders expressed appreciation to the State Chairman of the Labour Party for providing the enabling environment that ensured the successful conduct of the party primaries and reaffirmed their loyalty and support for his leadership.
They also commended Dr. David O. Anyaele for effectively representing the interests of Igbere Ward B and for promoting unity, engagement and interaction among party members and stakeholders in the ward.

The meeting praised the people of Igbere Ward B for their peaceful conduct, unity and maturity during the recently concluded Labour Party primaries, describing their support as instrumental to the success of the exercise.
As part of resolutions reached at the meeting, the stakeholders pledged to continue engaging party members, interest groups and eligible voters, while promoting voter registration efforts aimed at consolidating the party’s gains and securing victory in future elections.
They further resolved to work collectively towards delivering comprehensive electoral victories for all Labour Party candidates and maintaining the party’s dominance in Igbere Ward B and the wider Bende area.
