Former minister of State for Mines and Steel Development who was declared as the authentic Governorship Candidate of APC in Abia State, Dr Uche Ogah said Abia will enjoy a better administration under his watch if elected governor in 2023.
Dr Ogah made the promise when he landed at Sam Mbakwe Cargo Airport Owerri with a chartered private jet with registration no 5N-LOD amidst a fun fair.
Speaking with newsmen in company with the member representing Ikwuano Umuahia federal constituency, Hon Sam Onuigbo, former speaker of Abia State House of assembly, Rt Hon Stanley Ohajuruka, DG Abia Rejoice Movement, Hon Solomon Okogbuo, Chief Joshua Ogbonna among other party members, Ogah said his victory at the federal high court Abuja last week Friday was the will of God which no one can change.
While thanking God and Abians for their support to him, the former minister of states for mines and steel development disclosed that Abia would host the presidential campaign rally on January 17th, 2023.
Following the APC presidential campaign flag off which commenced in Jos on Tuesday November 15th, Ogah assured that the process of his campaign will start today since he has returned to Abia State.
According to him, with his campaign kicking off today, Abians will know that APC has a governorship candidate and maintains that they are ready to take over the Abia state government house come 2023.
Dr Ogah stated that within the week, he will set up all the tactical committees and campaign council for campaign and election.
Answering questions on what to do differently if elected governor of Abia State, the business guru said he has a robust blueprint on how to move Abia forward.
His words ” i am thinking out of the box, how to change the narrative in Abia State and promised to develop Abia within one year he takes over as governor because he has the capacity, confidence, credibility and has all the connectivity to bring all that it takes to set Abia forward”.
Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah assured that Abia APC is one, therefore, he will bring everyone together on one table as one family and will fight to take over the state.
The entourage which accompanied Uche Ogah from the airport stopped over at Umuika junction where elders and party chieftains recognized him as a warrior and presented him with some traditional regalia to encourage him to pursue his political ambition.
At express tower Umuahia down to Okpara square and finally destination at Isi-gate Umuahia, fans and well wishers of Dr Uche Ogah came out en masse rejoicing with him.
At his campaign office in Umuahia, Ogah addressed his supporters. While thanking party leaders for their support, Ogah encouraged APC faithful to go to their rural areas as apostles of the party, to convince others to join the party.
