The people of Amakama Ward in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State have expressed strong support for the 2027 political aspirations of Hon. IFEANYICHUKWU Kingsley Ekwuribe, as his campaign team visited the ward for the inauguration of the IFEANYICHUKWU Movement campaign team at the ward level.
The visit was part of preparations ahead of the official commencement of the campaign for the Umuahia South State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly.
The inauguration, which was initially expected to be attended mainly by members of the campaign executive, attracted a large crowd of supporters, sympathisers and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who turned out to identify with Ekwuribe’s candidacy.
The enthusiastic gathering expressed appreciation to God for what they described as the emergence of Hon. IFEANYICHUKWU Kingsley Ekwuribe at a critical time when, according to them, the people of Umuahia South are yearning for effective representation and renewed hope.
Presiding over the inauguration, Hon. Ikechi Nnanta (MeryGrace) charged the newly inaugurated executives to carry out their responsibilities with commitment and confidence. He assured them of the continued support of Hon. IFEANYICHUKWU Kingsley Ekwuribe and the entire Local Government campaign team.
Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated executives, Sir Chika Nwosu expressed appreciation to the campaign team and Hon. Ekwuribe for the confidence reposed in them. He assured the leadership of their unalloyed commitment and support towards the success of the IFEANYICHUKWU Movement.
Also speaking, coordinators representing Nkpuke and Obizi communities thanked the Local Government campaign team for what they described as a successful inauguration.
They pledged their support and commitment to mobilising voters across their communities towards securing victory for Hon. IFEANYICHUKWU Kingsley Ekwuribe at the 2027 polls.
The campaign team described the massive turnout and enthusiasm witnessed in Amakama as an indication of the growing acceptance of Ekwuribe among the people of Umuahia South.
