The National Welfare Secretary of the All Progress Congress, APC, Hon Donatus Nwankpa has encouraged Nigerians to keep fate with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, as he is facing Nigerian challenges with practical solutions.
Nwankpa gave the encouragement while addressing Asiwaju Super Women in Umuahia, who came to congratulate him on his recent elevation as the National Welfare Secretary of APC and to inform him of other pressing issues.
Nwankpa who commended the women for standing behind the president, the minister of state for labour, Nkiru Onyejecha and himself, assured Nigerians that they would experience a better government under Bola Tinubu.
According to him, Nigeria is on the part of success, as the effects of subsidy will soon be history and advised those who are sponsoring crisis and false allegations about Hon Nkiru Onyejecha to desist because she is a dogged fighter and deserves the best support.
Nwankpa maintained that he was aware of those fanning the crisis in their party, and commended Onyejecha for not abandoning her election mandate despite being a minister.
He added that Bola Tinubu is a listening President and has a lot of good policies for women and the country at large.
Earlier in her speech, the deputy state leader of Asiwaju super women in Abia State, Mrs Jane Ogbauta, Mrs Ngozi Ogbuka among others debunked and condemned the report making the rounds that Hon Nkiru Onyejecha campaigned against President Bola Tinubu.
While expressing their joy on the appointment of Chief Donatus Nwankpa as the national welfare secretary of APC, the women applauded mr President for appointing Onyejecha as minister of the federal republic and also passed a vote of confidence on her.
Mrs Jane said, “we are here to inform Hon Nwankpa about the malicious report against Rt Honourable Nkiru Onyejecha who has been up and doing, working for APC and followed Tinubu to almost all parts of the country during the presidential campaign”
She continued, “we wanted to visit Abuja and tell the world that we are for Tinubu and do a solidarity rally for the state coordinator, Asiwaju super women, Nkiru Onyejecha, but we had that Hon Nwankpa was around and we decided to inform him to take our message to Abuja, APC headquarters”.
National Watch captured that the women were carrying placards with inscriptions, ” we are proud of our beloved President on his choice of Hon Nkiru Onyejecha as minister federal republic, Asiwaju super women are proud of Hon Nkiru Onyejecha, Labour sympathizers leave Nkiru Onyejecha alone to do her job please, Hon Nkiru Onyejecha we are proud of you and we say no to distractions”.
