APGA, we will resist attempt to silence Obinna Ichita, Ehimere.
Abia state government has been reminded to address the sanitary condition of Aba south LGA especially Port Harcourt road Aba which the member representing Aba south state constituency, Obinna Ichita moved during a motion that received the support of the house.
The state chairman of All progressive grand alliance, APGA,, Reverend Augustine Ehimere stated this while interacting with newsmen in Umuahia in company with other state executive, state secretary, Sunday Onukwubiri and legal adviser, Barrister Chukwuemeka Nwokoro.
According to Ehimere, Honourable Obinna Ichita did well by calling on Abia state environmental protection agency, ASEPA to do the needful and live upto expectations.
They noted that Port Harcourt road Aba has four commercial banks, secondary and primary schools as well as chains of businesses that generate revenue to the state government and provide food for people doing business and worried why a serious government will resort to attacks instead of attending to people’s need.
The duo further alleged that the state government had announced that fund has been gotten to commenced the reconstruction of Obohia and Ohanku road with drainages, questioning why work have not commenced in those areas.
Contributing, the APGA legal adviser, Barrister Chukwuemeka Nwokoro condemned the attacks against the motion moved by Obinna Ichita instead of implementing the resolution of the house.
He added that the party will resist every attempt aimed at harassing, intimidating and threatening the person of APGA member from the state government.
