The Chairman of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Abia State Command, Chief Iheanyi Igboanulam, has described the promotion of Commissioner of Police Danladi Isa to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and outstanding service.
Speaking with BCA reporter Chukwuma Emele at the Police Officers’ Mess in Umuahia, Chief Igboanulam commended AIG Danladi Isa for his remarkable achievements in safeguarding lives and property during his tenure as Commissioner of Police in Abia State.
He said the Abia State PCRC is grateful to God for rewarding hard work and commitment to duty, while also appreciating Governor Alex Otti for his support to the Nigeria Police, which he noted created an enabling environment for Danladi Isa to record notable successes in the state.
Chief Igboanulam expressed confidence that the newly promoted AIG would leverage his new position to strengthen security efforts, not only in Abia State but across Nigeria.
To celebrate the promotion, members of the Abia State PCRC demonstrated their support through an initiative tagged “Operation Feed the Police.” As part of the celebration, they distributed packaged meals, drinks, and bottled water to police personnel at the Abia State Police Headquarters and the Umuahia Area Command.
