The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially presented the Certificate of Return to Hon. Ifeanyi Kingsley Ekwuribe, affirming his emergence as the party’s candidate for the Umuahia South State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The presentation, witnessed by party stakeholders, followed the successful conclusion of the PDP primary election and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to a transparent, credible, and democratic process in selecting its flag-bearers for the forthcoming elections.
Receiving the Certificate of Return, Hon. Ekwuribe formally assumes the responsibility of leading the PDP’s campaign in Umuahia South with a vision of purposeful representation, effective leadership, and people-oriented governance.
Party leaders expressed confidence in his ability to unite members, strengthen the party’s structure within the constituency, and secure victory for the PDP in the 2027 State House of Assembly election.
