A Socio-Political Group known as ABIA RAINBOW COALITION is now set to unveil the Candidates they have endorsed on the Platform of different Political Parties from House of Assembly to the President.
In a Statement released to the Press on Saturday 21st January 2023 after their meeting in Arizona Resort, Umuahia, Professor Ikechukwu Madukwe expressed his joy that for the first time in the Political history of Abia State, People of like-minds which include Artisans, Market folks, Enterpreneurs, Students etc, (verified PVCied) have come together to elect their Leaders based on their Antecedent, Capacity and Competence and NOT PARTY.
Dr. Madukwe, said that the Group will embark on a big Campaign Rally with the unveiled Posters of those endorsed in next 3 weeks.
He noted that the unique factor about this Rainbow Coalition is the coming together of varied Political Structures in Abia State agreeing on Candidates from different Political Parties.
