You have enough capacity to lead Abia; Youths to Bishop Onuoha

Abia south students and youths have described the governorship candidate of African Democratic congress, ADC, in Abia state, Bishop Dr. Sunday N. Onuoha as the best candidate for the 2023 governorship election in the state.

National President Abia South Students Forum/Youth for good governance, Comrade Emeka Chigbu disclosed this when they visited Bishop Onuoha in Umuahia to also endorse him like youths from Abia south and central senatorial districts did.

Chigbu however enjoined all Abians to cast their votes for Bishop Onuoha, adding that they want a fresh person with vision who has the fear of GOD so that the story of Abians will change.

According to him, the major reason behind their visit was to demonstrate their support to the parent body of their fellow students from Abia North and Central senatorial district and stand boldly to say that they are not in support of the PDP zoning system to return power to Abia Central.

Chigbu maintained that the youths and students always believe in the slogan of their forefathers “emenyere nwa ogbuenye emenyere nwa anosike” and also promised to make sure that the good dream of Abia State Charter of Equity introduced by the former governor of state Senator Theodore Orji is maintained.

In their separate speeches, Alozie Ifeanyi from Obingwa expressed their anger over poor infrastructure and inability of the government to pay pensioners and some workers of government agencies.

He said that former governors in Abia state Dr Orji Uzor Kalu and Chief Theodore Orji took care of the youths unlike the present administration and believed that Bishop Sunday Onuoha will cater for the youth if voted into power.

In her reaction, Judith Isinguzo from Ukwa said they came to give their support to Bishop Sunday Onuoha and say no to bad governance. She saluted the ADC Governorship Candidate for choosing a woman as his running mate. While Chidia Adanna from Aba North decried the deplorable conditions of roads in Abia North.
Kelechi Martins from Aba south said as a youth president, he promised to mobilize his people to give maximum support to the ADC Governorship Candidate.

Responding, the ADC Governorship Candidate in Abia State, Bishop Sunday Onuoha represented by his running mate, lady Glory Nwasimuo advised the youth to make themselves available during 2023 election and also support Bishop Sunday Onuoha’s Candidacy because the lord has called him to salvage Abia.

She disclosed that Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN are supporting Bishop Onuoha and urged them to go home and canvass for more support.

According to her, the condition of Abia state does not call for people asking for money before they vote, but she urges them to look at their future and not to sell their consciousness. She also encouraged them to go get their permanent voters card to enable them to vote during the 2023 general elections.

Recall that on Monday November 21st, 2022 Youths of Abia Central senatorial district joined their counterpart from Abia North to endorse the governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress, Bishop Sunday Onuoha.
Making their position known, the national president of Abia Central students association, Geoffrey Ifeanyichukwu noted that Bishop Onuoha has recorded many feats ranging from provision of jobs to many youths, as well as trained many of them on skill acquisition.

While reeling out other human endeavours made by the ADC Governorship Candidate in Abia State, Ifeanyichukwu stressed that Abia North extraction should produce the next governor of Abia state inline with Abia charter of equity.

Youth president from Osisioma local government area, Nwaigwe Eze said they came to reaffirm their support for the ADC Governorship Candidate to deliver Abia State as a God fearing man.
Kelechi Onuigbo, who led youths from Awomukwu in Ikwuano said they want Bishop Sunday Onuoha to be the next governor of Abia State.

According to him, they believe that Bishop can do a lot for the youth.
Women leader, Nkechi Nwachukwu from Isialangwa North on behalf of other ladies pledged their total support for Bishop Sunday Onuoha.

Meanwhile, the deputy governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress, Honourable lady Glory Nwasimuo who spoke on behalf of Bishop Sunday Onuoha thanked the students for joining hands with ADC Governorship Candidate to rescue Abia.

She noted that Abia is the last in terms of development especially, dilapidated roads witnessed both in Aba and Ukwa axis.

Lady Nwasimuo observed that Abia is living in bondage and charged the youth to liberate themselves by voting for Bishop Onuoha and other credible candidates during 2023 general elections.
