YPP Guber Candidate in Abia Signs Peace Accord; promises to eschew rancour, chaos and violence

As part of his commitment to ensure that 2023 Elections are held in an atmosphere of peace, Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor (Nana), the Gubernatorial Candidate of the YOUNG PROGRESSIVES PARTY, ABIA STATE has signed PEACE ACCORD at the instance of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Abia State Chapter, before the Resident Electoral Commissioner REC and Security Agencies in the State.

Part of the Accord signed by the Construction Giant is that, “the YPP Gubernatorial Candidate and other candidates of YPP will at all times before, during and after the 2023 General Elections ensure that YPP does not promote any form of rancour, chaos or violence either by themselves or their proxies”. Nana urged all Candidates and indeed Abians to key into this laudable initiative.

Engr. Nwafor who had earlier interfaced with the CAN Leadership in the State assured the Christian body that, “as a person, he has calm and peaceful disposition and will not be influenced by his ambition to behave differently”. Nana added that as a Knight of the Anglican Communion, he “is predicated on the fear of God and has carefully fielded Candidates who are not skilled in the art of rancour, chaos or violence”.

The signing of the PEACE ACCORD was witnessed by Apostle Dr. E.O. Agomuo, Chairman of CAN, Abia Chapter, Apostle Chuks Alozie, Chairman of CAN Interface Organising Committee, Apostle Dr. Ben Nwankwo,
Chairman PFN Umuahia and
Okechukwu Mgbeahuru, CAN Secretary and also Secretary of the CAN Interface Committee, just to mention but a few.
