Candidates of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in Abia State on Tuesday 30th August 2022 received their certificates of return to contest the 2023 elections.
Handing out the certificates at the State Campaign headquarters of the ADC gubernatorial candidate, Bishop Dr Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha at Eket Street Umuahia, which also doubles as the party’s State office, the ADC Abia State Chairman, Mr. Obioma Onwukaike said the party was on course in the drive to rescue Abia State from its pitiable condition.

Mr. Onwukaike urged the candidates to remain loyal and focused to the party and its leadership, while assuring that his team would provide every support within its ability to deliver them to victory by the grace of God.
Flanked by the governorship candidate of ADC, Bishop Sunday Onuoha, the State Secretary of the party, Mr. Ndubuisi Sunday, the State Deputy Chair, Prince Okwara Agwu, and some other party officials; the State Chairman, Mr. Obioma Onwukaike who just arrived from Abuja where he attended some party meetings and also collected the certificates, took time to hand over the certificates to over 30 candidates contesting different offices ranging from State House of Assembly, to Federal House of Representative, and the Senate.
