Reverend Ehimere who said the state with intelligent men and women has been reduced to global village, disclosed this at APGA office in Umuahia when the former state chairman of People’s Redemption Party, PRP, Surveyor Emmanuel Enwerem Chinyereze led other executive, as well as members of the party to collapsed their structure into APGA.
According to him, Abia would experience tremendous turn around if they support APGA governorship candidate, Professor Greg Ibe in 2023, adding that workers and pensioners in Abia have not enjoyed the reward of their labour, due to impunity and mismanagement of public resources.
His words, ” the state has no good roads and the incumbent governor has hand picked someone who squandered Abia state Polytechnic as rector and Abia State University Uturu as vice chancellor to finish up the state, we will resist that”
Earlier, the state chairman of People’s Redemption Party, Surveyor Emmanuel Enwerem Chinyereze and secretary, Dr Victor Ume said they have reviewed other parties and decided to work with APGA to ensure that positive change takes place in Abia State.
