60th Birthday: Trusk Link Calls on Philanthropists to Identify more with Less Privileged

A security expert in training of dogs and CEO, Trustlink Dogs and Guards Institute in affiliation with TeX American Investigative and Security Services Inc. USA,  Dr. Chukwunazom Cyra Obi has prayed for a better economy in Nigeria to enable philanthropists extend more love to the down trodden.
Dr Obi made the remarks when he visited Saint Vincent De Paul Centre for mentally and physically challenge, Umuafai Ndume Ibeku and Daughters of Mary, Mother of Mercy Compassionate Home Ahiaeke Ibeku both in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State to mark his 60th birthday.
Obi told National Watch that he promised God that part of his blessings would be used to take care of the less privileged.
Accompanied with his friends from Chartered forensic consultants Association of Nigeria, CFCAN and some members of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Unity Parish Umuahia, Province 3, led by the Welfare coordinator, Mrs Ego Nnadozie commended the coordinators of the two homes for their care.
He revealed that he was also with the destitute homes during his fiftieth birthday and has been sending support to them through the welfare department of his Church, RCCG.
Dr Cyra Obi called on philanthropists to extend more hand of fellowship to the less privileged in the society.
He frowned at the greedy attitude of some politicians in Nigeria who are embezzling public resources for selfish purpose.
According to him, “some of the money embezzled while in public office later become waste in the trash buckets”.
However, the celebrant went emotional when the superior general of the Ahiaeke compassionate home, Reverend Sister Gertrude Ukanwoko represented by Reverend Sister Ugonma Anyanwu received the items donated with much appreciation and presented a pathetic story, “that their food items had finished and the one brought by Dr Cyra Obi has given them hope for what to eat the following morning” she said, “the bad economy is affecting us much, we find it difficult to drink tea now”
The visitors became strong when some of the children including a dumb at Saint Vincent De Paul prayed for Dr Cyra Obi to witness more fruitful years ahead.
The sister in charge of daughters of Mary, Mother of Mercy compassionate home Ahiaeke Ibeku, Umuahia, Sister Anita Ogbonna eulogized the CEO of Trust link Ventures for coming to celebrate his sixtieth birthday with them and prayed God to give him more favourable years garnished with good health.
On her part, the Welfare coordinator, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Unity Parish Umuahia, Province 3, Mrs Ego Nnadozie urged the homes not to relent in taking care of the destitute children.
Highpoints of the visit were presentation of food items, cash, prayers and cutting of cake.
Meanwhile, the celebration will be commemorated with a thanksgiving service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Province 3 Old Timber, Umuahia by 5pm on Tuesday, 23ed November, 2021.
