FFDGN Mourns Bayelsa Deputy Governor Lawrence Ewhrudjakp, Describes his Death as National Loss

The Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria (FFDGN) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakp, commiserating with the state government, his family, and the people of Bayelsa over the painful loss.

In a condolence letter addressed to Governor Douye Diri, the forum, on behalf of its Board of Trustees, National Executive Committee and members nationwide, conveyed heartfelt sympathies, describing the passing of the deputy governor as a profound loss not only to his family and Bayelsa State but also to Nigeria at large.

The forum noted that the late Senator Ewhrudjakp was an active associate member of the FFDGN and a committed public servant whose contributions to governance, unity and development in Bayelsa State and the country were widely acknowledged.
According to the forum, his dedication to public service and unwavering commitment to the ideals of good governance endeared him to colleagues and stakeholders across the nation.

The condolence message was jointly signed by the National Chairman of the Forum, Dr. Chris Akomas, the Deputy National Chairman (North), Mukhtar Anka, and the Deputy National Chairman (South), Hazeem Gbolarumi. The leaders expressed solidarity with the Bayelsa State Government, the bereaved family, associates and all those affected by the tragic loss.

The FFDGN prayed for the eternal repose of the late deputy governor and urged God to grant the Bayelsa State Government, his family and the people of the state the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Until his passing, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakp remained an active associate member of the Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria.
