Speaking at the occasion, the Abia State Chairman of the PDP, Elder Ama Abraham, congratulated Hon. Ekwuribe for his consistent support for the party and his passion to represent the people at the Abia State House of Assembly.

Ama assured the candidate of the party’s full support and urged party executives at all levels to work hard towards winning more supporters for the PDP while also promoting the party’s candidate across the grassroots.
He maintained that the PDP remains strong enough to win any political position in Abia State and encouraged members of the party in Umuahia South and beyond not to lose hope.

Also speaking, the PDP Chairman in Umuahia South LGA, Chief Anyanwu John Uwabunkonye, described the event as a primary cum rally aimed at showcasing the PDP in Umuahia South.
