Ekwuribe Reaffirms Commitment To Peace, Unity, Development In Olokoro

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Umuahia South State Constituency in the 2027 election, Hon. Ifeanyi Kingsley Ekwuribe, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting development, peace and unity across communities in Olokoro.

Ekwuribe stated this in goodwill messages delivered on his behalf during the 2026 August Meeting of Olokoro Women, Home and Abroad, held at Ahiaukwu over the weekend.

The candidate thanked the women of Olokoro for their warm reception and expressed his continued affection for the community, describing Olokoro as a place very dear to him.

He assured the people of his continued support for the development of the community, including efforts to attract more projects and facilitate the construction and rehabilitation of roads in Ebem.

Ekwuribe, who was represented at the event, commended the mothers and women of Olokoro for the important roles they play in their families and communities, noting that their contributions remain vital to peace, stability and development.

He appreciated the President-General of Olokoro Women, Home and Abroad, and the entire women of the clan for their prayers, support and goodwill.

The PDP candidate further urged the women to continue promoting peace, unity, good values and the proper upbringing of their children, describing them as mothers, wives and pillars of their families and communities.

He also extended his goodwill to women in Ubakala and Umuokpara communities as they held their respective 2026 August Meetings.

Speaking through his representative, Ekwuribe commended the women across the communities for their contributions to the stability of their homes and communities. He urged them to continue promoting love, unity and understanding within their families while supporting the proper upbringing of their children and maintaining harmony in society.

He expressed appreciation for the continued support and prayers of the women, assuring them of his commitment to the progress and development of Umuahia South.

As the new week begins, Ekwuribe also extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the sons and daughters of Umuahia South.

He prayed that the new week would bring renewed hope, strength, peace, favour and greater opportunities to the people, urging them to remain united, focused and committed to building a better future for themselves, their families and generations yet unborn.

The candidate encouraged the people to remain steadfast and optimistic, stressing that with courage, unity and purposeful leadership, the desired Umuahia South could be achieved.

He wished the people and their loved ones a peaceful, productive and prosperous new week.
