Abia/Canadian Born Legislator, Uzoma Asagwara Seeks Re-election in Canada

Uzoma Asagwara said she is honoured to officially be the candidate for the NDP in Union Station for the next provincial election and look forward to what they can achieve together in their communities here and across Manitoba. 
Uzoma Asagwara was born and brought up in Canada. She noted her mother Doris, from Umuahia, Abia State has always been completely supportive of her endeavours and was a role model for standing up for others.

Uzoma in her Facebook post said “Thank you to everyone who attended our Union Station nomination meeting yesterday 21st November, 2021.
According to her, “the incredible energy in the room yesterday reflects how excited people are at the chance to work together and elect a Government that puts Manitobans first”. 
She acknowledged that the past many months have been so challenging and noted that there are better and brighter days ahead. 
She added that their party “Our NDP” team is ready to lead and together, they can make that happen in the next election. 
Uzoma further extended  big thanks to all the Union Station volunteers and MB NDP staff for making sure things ran smoothly.

Uzoma Asagwara, MLA for Union Station has done such amazing work as an MLA, and has been a huge inspiration to so many (including me). I am so proud to have them as my MLA, and am thrilled that they will be seeking re-election”.
