Following public concern, the member representing Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Obi Aguocha has called for calm as the House has constituted an adhoc committee to investigate Miss Ejikeme Mmesoma’s alleged manipulation of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME results of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board JAMB.
Hon Aguocha who is a member of the committee in a statement noted that having been selected as a member of the committee, Nigerians should expect a thorough and transparent job with the help of independent forensic experts.
As a committee, the federal law maker assured that they will do a thorough review of the matter and other administrative, as well as, operational activities of JAMB.
Aguocha also assured every Nigerian that their inquest shall be transparent, independent and with Cyber Forensic Expert Reports.
According to him, it is critically important that Nigerians are not put in any further position, to lose confidence in their institutions, especially, through “man-made glitches and prayed that JAMB is not found incompetent.
He advised everyone whether for, and or, against JAMB/Young Ms. Mmesoma Ejikeme, to wait patiently for the credible, yet independent House of representatives investigation reports.
