Breaking: 2023, Olokoro Youth Adopts Hon Jerry Uzosike for Second Tenure

Over one thousand Olokoro Youth Political Front have adopted and endorsed the member representing Umuahia South constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Barrister Jerry Uzosike for second term.
The youths made their position known when they paid a solidarity visit on Hon Jerry Uzosike at his Umunwanwa country hometown, where they resolved to purchase party’s form for him. They however threatened to sue him to court should he decline from recontesting in the 2023 general elections. 
The youths made their declaration through deputy chairman Umuahia South LGA, Mrs Mercy Umesi, the convener of Olokoro Youth Political Front, Obi Pius and the Secretary, Comrade Emezue Ikechukwu, Darlington Obike, Enyinna Izuogu disclosed that their resolved were based on his track records and quality representation. 
The youths added that they decided to throw their weight behind Uzosike because he has changed the narrative of representation and pledged to sustain their support to Jerry.
Responding, the member representing Umuahia South constituency, Hon Jerry Uzosike while thanking the youth for the honour done him, accepted to run for second tenure and promised that Olokoro clan will be the major beneficiary of his second tenure. 
He also promised to focus more on the youth because of the solidarity given to him, just as he encouraged the youths to arm themselves with their permanent voters card, PVC.
 
The state law maker disclosed that Olokoro people appreciate good things, hence, he would reward them by accommodating them in his scheme of projects through Ogechi Cares foundation. He disclosed that councilors, Amakama people and women group have also endorsed him for second tenure.
Jerry reeled out some of the various projects executed in Olokoro and other clans in Umuahia South constituency, revealing that Ogechi cares foundation are training many youths, promising to empower more traders, women and youths.
According to him, “Chidi Nwosu went for second tenure and pledged to take Umuahia South to another level, adding that what the youths have done touched him to do more”. 
He disclosed that previous representatives had denied not to gain nothing and promised to use his profits to develop the constituency.
Hon Jerry Uzosike decried the attitude of party big wigs who bent on collecting money from serving politicians, stressing that he will continue to identify with those who are casting the votes not to party big wigs, who contribute little or nothing during elections.
