A new State Director has been appointed to head the National Orientation Agency, Abia State Directorate. He is *Mr. Chidi Unobagha*, who takes over from *Comrade Victor Orji* who retired after 35 years of meritorious service to the nation.
At a brief handover, the outgoing State Director commended the staff for their cooperation during his tenure and pledged continued support for the new leadership.
Mr. Chidi Unobagha is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to his appointment, he served as a Director at the National Orientation Agency, Enugu State Directorate.
In his maiden meeting with management and staff, Mr. Unobugha commended past leadership in the state and solicited their support for his administration.
He pledged to carry every staff member along in the discharge of official duties, and reaffirmed the Agency’s mandate of mobilizing and sensitizing the public on government policies, programmes and activities.
