Clergymen call for Better Leadership in Abia State in Nigeria

Abia Christian Community in Nigeria, a movement that is born out of a godly desire to create a new model in the state that would address and meet the needs of the people of the state says Abia is in dire need of a true servant leader who has the fear of God with a strong burden to rebuild the state.
This is the position of the Abia Christian Community, an umbrella of the clergy from all denominations, which has the mandate of mobilizing the church towards changing the leadership narrative of Abia State held at Aba Town Hall over the weekend, tagged; Opening the Gates of Abia 2022.
As it was called; Abia Day of Spiritual Clean up, the programme commenced with an intercession towards Abia Redemption
Themed; Rebuilding the Broken Walls, Men and Women from the body of Christ who were in attendance called on God to restore light to the state and society at large
In his sermon drown from Nehemiah chapter two verse seventeen, Reverend Ignatius Anoruo who pointed that evil prevail when good men do nothing, expressed optimism that Abia can be healed if the righteous takes responsibility.
In their separate remarks, the spokesperson of the group, Apostle Reminder Gad, and President, Nigerian Christian Graduate Fellowship, NCGF, Barrister Ijeoma Njoku stated that they are a pressure group towards good governance and value orientation geared towards societal positive stability.
