CLERIC CHARGES ORDAINED MINISTERS TO LIVE ACCORDING TO GOD’S DIRECTIVES.

A total of 252 church officers have been officially ordained into various offices as Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses in The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Umuahia Area with a charge for them to be faithful stewards unto God.
Performing the ordination ceremony Saturday 7th August, 2021 at the Umuahia Area headquarters of the church, 55 Awolowo Street, Umuahia during the grandfinale of the Officers’ Conference /Ordination for the Area, the Territorial Chairman of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Igbo land Territory, Apostle Peter Chituru Ahia challenged the officers not to serve with the mind of making personal gains, emphasizing that anyone who serves with wrong motives would  not receive good rewards.
Apostle Ahia, who read from Mathew chapter 25 verse 14 to 30 reiterating that servants of God should see their new assignment as a call by God and must be ready to accept responsibilities given to them. He added that God expects them to serve according to their abilities.  The servant of God highlighted the rewards stewards receive from their masters to iinclude praise, promotion and possesion, while blessings follow faithful servants while regrets are the portions of the unfaithful, therefore, he urged church officers to aim at bringing glory to God in their services while assuring that He will crown them  at last.
In his remarks, the convener and Umuahia Area Superintendent of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Apostle Eberechukwu Igwe said that the aim of the conference and ordination was to equip old and newly appointed church officers, informing that the ordination became necessary as it has taken decades when the Area conducted officers ordination.
According to Apostle Igwe, the church leaders must be able to be authoritative in standing on the truth , be spiritual in directing the church and be sacrificial in the service of God. He told the ordinands that God has chosen them to help enlarge His kingdom on Earth and stressed the need for them to grow from one level to another.
One of the ordained servants, Divine Nwankwo appreciated the church leaders for finding them worthy to serve.
Mr Divine on behalf of others, assured the Church of sustaining the feat that attracted their promotion.
