INEC Declares Prof Charles Soludo Winner of Anambra Governorship Election

Former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Profeseor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has been declared winner of the Anambra 2021 Governorship Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Returning Officer of the Anambra Governorship Election, Profeseor Florence Obi, announced the result on Wednesday morning at the INEC office in Awka, Anambra State.
Accoreing to Professor Obi, Soludo won with 112,229 votes beating his closet opponent, Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP who polled 53,807 votes, and Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress, APC who got 43,285 votes. 
Meanwhile Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressive Party, YPP polled 21,261 votes to secured fourth.
