Jovian Youth Education & Leadership Development Initiative commends CCD for building capacity for CSOs/PWDs

The Executive Director Jovian Youth Education & Leadership Development Initiative , Ambassador Nwadinobi Okezie actively participated in the 2-day capacity building workshop in Umuahia, Abia State organized by the Center for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) in collaboration with Project Enable Africa and supported by the US Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund. Okezie commended CCD and its partners for putting the event together.

The topic of “Encouraging Inclusive Economic Opportunities And Community Resilience for Persons with Disabilities” provided a stimulating environment for thought-provoking conversations and tactical planning.

In the course of the workshop, we explored the following topics in great detail, which helped to develop budgeting and inclusive workspace strategies:

🔹 Understanding Disability Rights And Advocacy
🔹 Public Policy Analysis And Engagement
🔹 Inclusive Workplaces Culture
🔹 Inclusive Budgeting

We will always be there to fight for the rights of young people, especially those who are Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

Remember, Disability is not inability.
