One of the finest Economist in Nigeria from Abia State, Dr Alex Otti says he is supporting the youth acquire education through scholarship as part of his own contribution to give back to the society.
The renowned Economist disclosed this through the Executive Director of Dr Alex Otti foundation, Mr Chinedu Ekeke while interacting with newsmen in Umuahia on the activities of their scholarship program for 2021/2022 session.

Ekeke who added that the whole idea is to leave a lasting legacy and encourage the standard of education by selecting brilliant students in their second year either from the public university, polytechnic, school of nursing or college of education etc. Ekeke explained that beneficiaries from the University must have cumulative grade point, CGP of 3.5 and other institutions 2.8 for other institutions.
He added that beneficiaries of the scholarship apply through online, as such, successful candidates will face physical interview with reputable consultants.
Mr Chinedu Ekeke maintained that the whole process has been transparent, devoid of fraud, with the intention to empower the youths academically.
He revealed that beneficiaries of the scholarship are residents of Abia State irrespective of their state and those whose ancestral history are traced to Abia.
