Stakeholders Emphasize The Need To Strengthen The Welfare of Youths

Stakeholders have been charged  to support  initiatives aimed at promoting  the welfare of Youths in Abia State.
The Commissioner of  Youth Development Barrister Charles Esonu who disclosed this when a Youth focused Organization, the Youth Emancipation and Rehabilitation Foundation paid him an advocacy  visit in  his office , assured of the Ministry’s readiness to partner the Foundation and other sister Organizations to realise their target .
The Commissioner represented by the Director Youth Mobilization, charged the Organization to take affairs of the youth seriously as youths are the leaders of today building a better tomorrow.
Earlier in her speech, the Leader of the team cum the Executive Director Youth Emancipation and Rehabilitation Foundation, Agbonma Jennifer Ukaobasi, Esq  disclosed that Youth Alive Foundation, Youth Emancipation, Rehabilitation Foundation and Vision Alive Foundation are among the ten civil society and Private Sector Organizations as Youth Development Cluster under USAID working on the effective implementation of the  National Youth Policy at the National and State Levels.
She further  disclosed that the key focus of the Youth Development Cluster  is to strengthen the implementation of pillar 1 and Pillar 5 of the National  Youth policy.
PILLAR 1 – Productive Workforce and Sustainable Economic Engagement of Youth 
PILLAR 5 – Effective Partnership- Building and Collaboration for Youth Development.
The Executive Dorector of Youth Emancipation and Rehabilitation Foundation  further solicited  the support of the Ministry in making relevant information and advise that will help them succeed available 
In a vote of thanks, the Executive Director Vision Alive Foundation, Mr Ikenna Ogbudimkpa thanked the Commissioner and Directors of the ministry for the  warm reception accorded them and prayed  for their unalloyed  support in the success of the project in Abia State.
