Cleric Urges Mother’s to Sustain Their Roles at Homes, as Catholic Women Celebrate 2022 Mothering Sunday

As Catholic women celebrate 2022 Mother’s Sunday, the parish priest of Holy Rosary Catholic Church Okwu Olokoro in Umuahia South LGA of Abia, Reverend Father Ignatius Ibe has urged mother’s not to neglect their God’s given roles at their various homes.
Speaking on the topic”the vanguards of divine treasured compassion, divine mercy to prove that Christ is alive”, Father Ibe  noted that God treasured the world and sent His son who came to salvage man.

                         Rev Fr Ibe

According to him, God through the scriptures manifested His love and defeated the power of death which enabled man to enjoy a new life.
The priest noted that the Apostles of God became the vanguards of peace, treasure of unity as recorded in Acts chapter 5, verse 12 to 16. Reverend Father Ibe therefore advised believers not to toy with the treasure of salvation.
He further charged women to value togetherness, eschew crisis in their families, but stand as a pillar of peace, and reconciliation.
Rev Fr Ibe in his words” The gift of motherhood is a precious gift, a fulfilment of Divine Will for the welfare and  good of creation and humanity. May God Almighty through the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary through whom womanhood and motherhood gained more significance and prominence grant you the necessary blessings and graces to succeed and excel in your family engagements and beyond through Christ our Lord Amen. Happy Mothers’ Day to mothers”
The 2022 Catholic Mothering Sunday has the theme”A Woman (Catholic) a Heart of the family” featured the induction of newly weeded into Catholic Women Organisation CWO, thanksgiving, retreat, brief lecture, as well as other events that started last week monday including novelty match.
