The new interim executive of
African Democratic Congress, ADC Abia state met on Tuesday at Umuahia. In his address the newly appointed Interim Chairman, Mr. Obioma Onwukaike assured everyone that his leadership will work hard to unite the members of the party so as to win elections in Abia State.
Mr. Obioma further encouraged the LGA chairmen who are part of the new interim excos to be the light that others must follow. A motion was moved and seconded for all the chairmen of LGA and wards to continue their work in their various capacities before the desolation of the State Executive Council.
Mr. Obioma encouraged other appointed members of the interim excos that they must see their appointment as a call to duty and nothing an opportunity to punish others.
Meanwhile, the following were appointed into various positions;

7. Welfare & Social Secretary – Chinemerem Nwogu
8. Organizing Secretary – Elder Hon. Ijeoma Nwaokeleme
9. Legal Adviser- Emerson Azubuike
10. Chief Whip- Ndubuisi Onwuchekwa
11. State Auditor – Very Rev’d P. C. Okeiyi
12. Financial Secretary – Mrs. Chinyere Ogba
13. Ex-Officio – Hon Franklyn Nwaunani
14. Ex-Officio – Pastor John Ukeh
