Hon. Kingsley Ifeanyi Ekwuruibe, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for Umuahia South State Constituency in the 2027 Abia State House of Assembly election, has outlined his vision for representation, community development and accountability in the constituency.
Ekwuruibe said his campaign would focus on issues affecting residents of Umuahia South, including quality representation, community development, youth empowerment, education, infrastructure, healthcare, economic opportunities and accountability in public office.
He noted that Umuahia South comprises vibrant communities and hardworking residents, including youths, women, professionals, entrepreneurs, farmers and community leaders whose aspirations, according to him, deserve meaningful representation.
The PDP candidate also highlighted Olokoro as an important part of Umuahia South, stressing the need for the concerns of its communities and institutions to be properly communicated and reflected in legislative and community development discussions.
Ekwuruibe said his aspiration is to secure the mandate of the people and serve as their representative at the Abia State House of Assembly.
He urged residents to pay attention to issues affecting the constituency as political activities ahead of the 2027 election intensify.
According to the campaign message, voters have the opportunity to examine the candidates, their records, experience, programmes and public statements before making their individual choices at the election.
Ekwuruibe is seeking to represent Umuahia South State Constituency on the platform of the PDP in the 2027 Abia State House of Assembly election, with his campaign centred on what it describes as voice, vision, representation and accountability.
