The member representing Umuahia South Constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Emeka Obioma has commiserated with the family of the chairman of Labour Party in Ahiaukwu Ward 2 Olokoro, in Umuahia South LGA of Abia State over the demise of the Ward chairman, Mr Nduka Ekuru.
Recall that Nduka died on Sunday 17th September, 2023 after a brief illness.
Hon Obioma who visited the family of Nduka Ekuru at Umuoji Okwu Olokoro, described the deceased as a dedicated labour party member.
Emeka Obioma who made the visit in company with some of his friends including Mr Obinna Sunday A.K.A (Obi Cubana), said that late Nduka popularly known as (Suppy) contributed to the success of his election, as well as Abia State and Nigeria at large.
While urging the family of Ekuru to take heart and not to mourn like those who do not believe in God, the law maker noted that God gives and takes life at His will.
He said that the news of Nduka’s death came to him as a big shock, adding that the deceased was full of life the last time he met him.
Emeka also commiserated with Labour Party members Ahiaukwu Ward 2 and promised to identify with the family at this moment of grief.
Responding on behalf of the family, the immediate younger brother to Nduka, Mr Henry Ekuru commended Hon Emeka Obioma and others for coming to identify with them.
He assured that the family would communicate him including others officially when the burial is fixed.
