Ehimere Alerts Security Agents over Plots to Distabilise APGA

Security agencies in Abia State have been urged to be at red alert and to take note of alleged evil plots to use the name of APGA by some desperate political jobbers in the State to cause a breach of the peace and to cause harm to innocent citizens and loyal party faithful in the State.
APGA State Chairman, Reverend Augustine Ehiemere in a press statement said the attention of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia State chapter was drawn to a sinister and evil plans hatched and orchestrated by some desperate, unscrupulous and never do well politicians in the State, who have conspired with their political jobbers in the State to attack, harass, intimidate and threaten the lives of members of the State Working Committee of the party.
According to Ehimere, part of this evil plans by these desperate politicians is to cause breach of the peace in the party’s State Secretariat at Umuahia with the aim of implicating APGA as a violent political party in Abia State.
APGA therefore used this medium to warn all agents of destabilization in Abia State to steer clear of the activities of the party and to desist from any criminal act hatched against the party for purposes of indicting the party as a violent political party.
Ehimere said the party remains a peaceful and law abiding political party and will not allow moles and infiltrators to rubbish the long cherished achievements of the party which has put the party in an advantaged position over other political parties in the State, especially considering the prospect of APGA to take over Abia Government House, come 2023.
He added that as a strong opposition party in Abia, APGA is poised and determined to help in the political and economic development of Abia State which can only be achieved through transparency and accountability in governance by the Government in power.
